*** APEC was formerly Pacific Plans Inc. (PPI). APEC claims to have more than 7.3 billion pesos in trust funds as of December 2010. PPI was sold by the Yuchengcos in December 2008 to Noel C. Onate, founder of APEC, and founder and former owner of the Asian Spirit airline. .


*** Phil Plans was formerly Philam Plans. PhilPlans is now part of the Philippines First Group (founded in 1906). It was bought from the Philippine American Life and General Insurance Co. (Philamlife) in October 2009 by Philippines First Insurance Co. and Systems Technology Institute (STI). It claims to be the largest pre-need company, with 35.7 billion pesos in trust funds.
